Withdraw from a contract
If you're a consumer in the EU, EEA, or UK, you have a legal right to withdraw from your contract with us within 14 days of entering into it, without giving a reason.
A note on what happens next. If you asked us to start providing a service straight away, you'll pay a proportionate amount for the time it was actually running, and we'll refund the rest. For anything already completed at your request — a domain registration, an issued certificate — the position is different, and our Refund and Cancellation Policy explains it.
Our money-back guarantee is separate from this and is usually more generous. Most customers are better served by it.
Ready to withdraw?
This opens our withdrawal form. You don't need an account or a password to use it, and you'll get an email confirming we've received your notice.
What to have ready
Before you start, it helps to have:
- The email address on your Bitfoo account
- Which service or order you're withdrawing from
- The date you ordered it
- If your order included a domain name, whether you'd rather keep the domain (the registration fee stays payable) or take the refund (the domain is cancelled and immediately becomes available for anyone else to register)
We ask about the domain up front because registries only allow a registration to be cancelled and the fee recovered within a few days of it being created.
Other ways to withdraw
You don't have to use the form. Any clear statement that you're withdrawing will do. You can:

- Write to us at the address below
- Send us the model withdrawal form in our Refund and Cancellation Policy — it's there if you want it, but you're not required to use it
Whichever route you choose, what matters is that you send it before your 14 days are up.
