Legal
These are the documents that govern our services. We've tried to write them so you can actually read them — the formal agreements and policies start with a plain-language summary, and the detail follows underneath. Our practical guides put the steps you need first.
If something here isn't clear, ask us. We'd rather explain it than have you agree to something you're unsure about.
Your agreement with us
What you're signing up to, what it costs, and what happens if something goes wrong.
- Terms of Service
The main agreement between you and Bitfoo. Everything else hangs off this one.
- Service Terms
What each service includes and who's responsible for what, across hosting, virtual servers, certificates, and IP announcement.
- Acceptable Use Policy
What you can and can't run on our network, and what happens if something goes wrong.
- Refund and Cancellation Policy
Our money-back guarantee, what isn't refundable, and how to cancel.
Domain Registration AgreementPending publication
The terms that apply when you register or transfer a domain through us.
Your data
What we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
- Privacy Policy
What personal information we hold, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and your rights over it.
Reporting something
If you've found a problem on our network, these are the routes in.
- Abuse Policy
How to report spam, phishing, malware, network abuse, or illegal content, and what we do about it.
- DMCA and Copyright Policy
How to send a copyright notice or a counter-notice, and how we handle repeat infringement.
- Security and Vulnerability Disclosure Policy
For security researchers. What's in scope, the rules, and our commitment not to come after you for good-faith work.
Legal requests
For law enforcement and legal professionals.
- Law Enforcement Guidelines
How to serve legal process, what we require, and what data we hold.
Cancelling within your first 14 days
If you're a consumer in the EU, EEA, or UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your contract within 14 days. You can do that here:Withdraw from a contract.
This is in addition to our money-back guarantee, which is usually more generous — see the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Where to send things
Using the right address gets you a faster answer. Support can't action a subpoena and our legal inbox can't reset your password.
